It can be easy to sway to the winds of the world these days. There is so much information, so much controversy, so much turmoil, and so much fear. D&C 87 makes a list of all these calamities. In fact, most of the section is this list. At the end of the section, there is a brief statement of beautiful parental command. Stand in Holy Places. Be Firm. Stay there until I come back.
 
When your mom stays “stay here until I come back” what is her plea –
 
“This is where you are safe. Do not move because you are not safe anywhere else, and I won’t know where to find you. I promise I’ll be back. Please listen. Please be here when I get back." Stand ye in Holy Places and be not moved.
 
This lesson teaches you kids young and old what it means to Stand in Holy Places, and how to create their own Holy Places.
